There are my newly accomplished projects.  So far, I have been occupied with new patterns and designs that’s hovering my head.  I get frustrated since my hands can’t work faster than my brain process the ideas that flashes in my vision 🙂

Should you be interested in any of these patterns, do let me know and I will try to accommodate anyone with their needs 🙂

Soon, I will paint again, I will write again and I will enjoy the great outdoors again.  I am also in the market for a street bike Kawasaki Ninja 250R-  I am working out with “insanity”.  You got that right, with Shawn-T…he’s the best for me.

So, please excuse the mess in this site… I just have so much in my plate 🙂

Happy Monday!

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.  ~Dalai Lama

Yes, yes, and yes!!! The weekend is over 🙂

I know how you feel.  This is what happens when we enjoy the weekend so much and forget that Monday is just a day away from Sunday 🙂

And the rest of us just enjoys the beauty of this day.   Though the sun isn’t shining or the temperature at a basking degrees, but we’re just enjoying this day to make a difference.  A better today than yesterday and a brighter tomorrow 🙂

Have a wonderful Monday everyone!!

The Saddest News I’ve Ever Heard (this month)

Below is a link to the article regarding the newly banned list of reptiles in Florida.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/blogs/green-south-florida/sfl-obama-administration-to-make-major-burmese-python-announcement-20120116,0,419029.story#tugs_story_display

Honestly, I am quite sad with this knowledge.  Unfortunately, it isn’t the reptile’s fault, whoever owned them didn’t realize how huge these snakes could get.  They werent’ informed and educated about these types of reptiles before purchasing.  All this could’ve been eliminated if only sellers were a bit strict in selling these lovely giants.

Buyers without prior experience or knowledge about certain reptiles or snakes in this matter shouldn’t be allowed to purchase these types of snakes.

Luckily, my husband is very much experienced in these types of reptiles.  We are currently house hunting, before these Burmese grows out to be twenty feet long, we need to build their husbandry.  I guess for us here in the West side, we shall proceed with our business.

Hydra

Hydra-  Albino Burmese Python

With my special beloved Hydra.  She is my favorite snake of the bunch.

Here is my favorite Albino Burmese Python.  Hydra is 2yrs old and is about 5 ft long and weighs around 4.53 kilos (10 lbs).  Hydra is a very docile Burmese.  We brought her home last Thursday and is nursing her back to health.  She picked up a cold before we took her home.  She seems to be doing better now that she’s under a warm light and with the company of snake freaks (that would be my family and meself).

Fire place

Here is my latest work, rested over the mantle-

♦  ♦  ♦

It’s been a little gloomy in my home- after hammering this up it brightens up the place a bit; well this corner anyway. I have another painting nestled above the couch… I haven’t had the urgency to paint lately, neither am I encouraged.  I enjoy it most when the passion is fiery and adventurous, I play with brighter colors more-  Perhaps, sometime soon 🙂

PS, this draft has been sitting in for a long time. I just happen to check all my post lists and found this, patiently waiting to be published 🙂
